FAQ

What are the Covid protocols when traveling to Jamaica?

A covid test is not required to travel to Jamaica. However, The Tryall Club requires each guest in your group to sign a Covid waiver upon your arrival (whomever reserved your villa will receive the waiver.) A Covid test is required to travel back into the US. A nurse will come to your villa to administer a rapid test. The head of your villa will work with you to confirm a time that works well for everyone to be tested. If you're staying at a Great House Villa (Mirador, Stella Marina, Captains Choice, Etoile, Poinciance, The Charles and the Earl, Bye The Way, Bee Happy, Legacy Villa), please go to the Great House to arrange your test. You will receive an email with a copy of your test results, which will be needed when you check-in for your return flight. You can also request your villa staff or great house staff to provide a hard copy of your results to show at the airport.

How do I arrange transportation to and from the airport?

The Tryall Club will request from whomever reserved your villa to provide each guests' flight information. A driver will be scheduled to pick you up from your villa 2.5 to 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure. If you are unsure if airport transportation has been arranged contact guestservices@tryallclub.com.

I have landed in Jamaica, now what?

Welcome to Jamaica mon! If you booked Club Mobay, there will be someone to greet you with a sign and he/she will guide you through customs and take you to desk #20 (The Tryall Club Desk) where you will meet Tryall airport representative. She will escort you to your driver. If you did not book Club Mobay, as soon as you have cleared customs do NOT go outside the airport, proceed to desk #20 (The Tryall Club Desk) and Tryall airport representative will escort you to your driver. Your driver will take you to The Tryall Club Great House to check in before bringing you to your villa. Don't forget to grab a bucket of beers before you get in the van!

What is the duration to and from the airport?

Around 35 minutes.

Will transportation be provided for the welcome party?

Ya mon! For guests without a golf cart, staying at the Great House villas (Mirador, Stella Marina, Captains Choice, Etoile, Poinciance, The Charles and the Earl, Bye The Way, Bee Happy, Legacy Villa), a shuttle will take you to Bella Vista, leaving at ~7:45pm, and will take you back to the Great House at 10pm.

Will transportation be provided for the wedding?

Ya mon! For guests without a golf cart, staying at the Great House villas (Mirador, Stella Marina, Captains Choice, Etoile, Poinciance, The Charles and the Earl, Bye The Way, Bee Happy, Legacy Villa), a shuttle will take you to the Revielle Lawn (next to Jamaican Me Happy Villa), leaving at ~4:40pm. For guests driving golf carts, please park at the beach/pool parking area. Once the ceremony is over, please drive your golf cart to Karma Bay Villa (3 villas down) and park them across the street. Please request your villa butler to pick up your golf cart at their convenience. A shuttle will take you back your villa at the end of the night!

What is the process for relaying what food and alcohol I want at my villa?

The Tryall Club provided a form (Food, Wine & Spirits List) to whomever rented the villa. You need to indicate what you'd like for dinner for the first night and breakfast for the first morning, plus any grocery items you would like to have in your villa prior to your arriva (typically snacks and alcohol). Upon arrival we recommend designating someone to meet with the Chef/Cook to review what meals you'd like to be prepared. TIP: Ask your Chef/Cook to go into town to purchase the food.

Are there restaurants and bars at the Tryall Club?

Of course, mon! The Beach Restaurant and Bar is open for both lunch and dinner. The Pool Grill is also open for lunch. One of the items on their menu is fresh pizza, which can be delivered to your villa! Across from the Grill is the Beach Bar, virtually right on the sands of our main beach. The Tryall Club offers full beach and pool service as well. The Great House also has a bar! It's a great place to meet for pre-dinner drinks. Whether inside or outside on the terrace there are fabulous views out to sea. On Thursday night from 7pm to 9pm there is a Reggae Beach Party, located on the lawn of quiet beach, with a Jamaican inspired buffet and music for which Jamaica is renowned, plus entertainment. Contact guestservices@tryallclub.com if you would like to attend.
